Fromm is a family-owned premium pet food company located in Wisconsin. They ensure the use of high-quality ingredients, and have full control over the manufacturing process, which occurs at one of three Wisconsin facilities. To better ensure product safety, the company undergoes random and periodic inspections performed by outside agencies such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS). Prescription Diets

In some circumstances, our veterinarians may recommend a prescription diet for your pet. There are numerous disease processes that can be better managed through diet and nutrition. We carry and can order prescription diets from any of the companies listed below. With a prescription, you may also purchase these diets through our online store. Each of the below companies ensure their food meets the standards set by The Associate of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO). AAFCO is a voluntary association that does not have any regulatory power, as they are not a government agency like the USDA or FDA. Instead, they are a voluntary association that established certain nutritional standards for complete and balanced pet foods. They do not approve or rate pet foods. However, any food that meets the AAFCO standards is considered complete and balanced, ensuring it is formulated to provide essential nutrition to your pet.

Hill's Prescription Diet Foods are made in their own U.S. facilities with ingredients from North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, which exceed industry standards for purity and nutrient content. The Hill's^® pet food lines began in 1939. Dr. Mark L. Morris Sr. believed certain health conditions in pets could be managed through carefully formulated nutrition. His ideas were visionary in veterinary medicine, and he had the opportunity to prove his theory.

Prevention of heartworm, fleas, and ticks is easy, and it is an important part of keeping your pet healthy. Click here for links to websites containing more information on these parasites. We rely on the products listed below to prevent these parasites. Please note that there is no product that prevents all three of these parasites, and therefore your pet must be on at least two different preventatives for full protection.

Interceptor Plus ~ is a flavored chewable tablet to prevent heartworms, roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and tapeworms Interceptor Plus must be given every month (with a full meal) to keep your pet protected.

Tri-Heart Plus ~ is a flavored chewable tablet that is given monthly to prevent heartworm. It also helps protect against roundworms and hookworms.

Revolution for Cats ~ is a topical product that is applied monthly to prevent heartworm. It also helps to protect against fleas, certain mites, as well as roundworms and hookworms.

Bravecto for Dogs ~ is a flavored chewable tablet that is given every 12 weeks to help prevent fleas and ticks. Dogs must be 6 months of age or older and 4.4 pounds or greater to use this product.

Bravecto for Cats ~ is a topical product that is applied every 12 weeks to help prevent fleas and ticks. Cats must be 6 months of age or older and 2.6 pounds or greater to use this product.

Credelio for Dogs ~ is a flavored chewable tablet that is given every 4 weeks to help prevent fleas and ticks. Dogs must be 8 weeks of age or older and 4.4 pounds or greater to use this product.

Seresto Collar for Dogs ~ is a collar that repels and kills fleas and ticks for 8 months. It also kills chewing lice and aids in the treatment and control of Sarcoptic mange. Dogs must be at least 7 weeks of age and older to wear Seresto. The collar comes in two sizes: 18 pounds and under, and greater than 18 pounds. The product is designed with a release mechanism such that the dog’s own strength is sufficient to widen the collar to allow for quick release in case your pet becomes trapped. The collar also comes with attachable light reflectors for added visibility in dim light.
